All About Me & Maw’s

Hi there! I’m Alexis- the owner and the ‘Me’ in “Me & Maw’s.’ It is a southern style down-home kitchen & bakery that was established in honor of my grandmother who I fondly call ‘Maw.’ She is the face of the business and at the very core of who I am today!

Growing up, most of my weekends and days after school were spent in her kitchen where she passed down her techniques and family recipes, and it’s also where I inherited my love for cooking. Seldom were measuring cups used because she measured with her eyes and her hands, but most importantly- her heart. A pinch of this. A dash of that. A handful of these.

With those country cooking skills, I’ve added a modern twist to make delicious food for every mood. As Maw would say, “Love is as love does“ and you’re guaranteed to taste the love in every bite!
